Skeikampen offers diverse, high-quality fishing experiences all year round. You will find everything from family-friendly lakes everyone can enjoy, to spots for the more advanced angler. Catching pike over 10 kg and trout and Arctic char over 2 kg is far from impossible. The highlight for the enthusiasts is probably autumn ice fishing for large, beautiful Arctic char at Nisjuvatn, or summer fishing for pike in Rausjøen.

For families, idyllic and easily accessible lakes can be found along Peer Gyntveien and Veslesetervegen. Bring your tent, and enjoy wonderful moments together in the peaceful mountain trying your fishing luck. Fishing with rod and handline is permitted all year round. Fishing permits can be purchased at Joker Skeikampen, Skeikampen Velkomstsenter, or inatur.no. Everyone over the age of 16 requires a fishing permit. All children under 16 can fish for free – all year round.
