Skeikampen is a year-round destination at Skei in Gausdal municipality in Oppland. Read more about Skeikampen.

On 21 December 1931, Gausdal Høifjellshotell opened and a new winter sports venue was established. The area was promoted as "Norway's most ideal ski terrain" and guests flocked to it. The first ski lift was ready in 1958.

A year-round destination for anyone who likes to be active outdoors

Skeikampen has developed into a year-round destination for everyone who likes to be active outdoors. Nature is the focus, because fresh air and beautiful nature never go out of style.

At the foot of the mountain is the country's highest golf course. In addition, there are cycle paths, mountain hikes, bathing water and fishing water in the immediate vicinity.

 

Several alpine slopes and 200 km of cross-country trails

Skeikampen's alpine center has 11 lifts and 17 runs. There are 3 green slopes, 5 blue, 6 red and 3 black. The longest descent is 2,500 meters long, and there is a total of 21 kilometers of descent. The alpine facility has a capacity of 10,000 people per hour. Skeikampen has Scandinavia's second 8-seater chairlift. There is a separate area for children, where there are 2 roller coasters and several short slopes.

There are 200 km of groomed cross-country trails at Skeikampen. You can walk continuously from Skeikampen to Peer Gynt Skiregion and Kvitfjell. Then there are over 600 km of cross-country trails

The Olav Thon Group has been at Skeikampen for over 30 years. Here we have run both hotels, catering and the alpine resort. We will continue to focus on Skeikampen and the city center area will be upgraded with exciting common areas and activity offers.
